What is chin procedure?
Chin procedure is recommended to patients whose facial contour is unbalanced even though they do not have protruding cheekbone or mandibular angle. The procedure may be solely done or combined with other procedures such as lower jaw reduction surgery.
- Anesthesia : general anesthesia
- Operation time : 1 hour to 1 hours 30 minutes
- Stitch removal : After 1 to 2 weeks, clinic visit 2~3 times
- Initial recovery : daily activity after 3~5 days
Chin procedure is recommended to patients with following conditions
1. Small chin
2. Long, protruding chin, although the teeth occlude
3. Short chin
4. Skewed chin
5. Uneven contour of the chin
